We launched the first version of Gotukio.com in the fall of 2023 after our own experience planning and booking a safari. Our goal was to make safari booking easy and transparent, primarily to solve our own problem. Through the feedback of our travelers and partners, this has evolved into a much more important mission: to change the way adventure travel is planned and booked, one destination at a time!

Who is behind Gotukio.com
Our founder, Marina, spent years exploring the hidden corners of the world, places where nature remains wild and and cultures thrive untouched by mass tourism. Marina also spent the first part of her career solving problems using technology. When she ventured through Africa, she realized that planning a safari wasn’t easy. She envisioned a platform that could offer the kind of meaningful, authentic experiences she sought, without the hassle of complex arrangements. She imagined a way to explore the world in a way that respected nature, celebrated local cultures, and offered true adventure, and so Gotukio.com was born.
