What to expect
Visitors entering through Rongai Gate can enjoy scenic views of the conservancy’s expansive savannahs, acacia woodlands, and the iconic Mount Kenya in the distance. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino), along with cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous bird species. The Rongai side of the conservancy is known for its quieter, more secluded atmosphere, providing a more private safari experience.
