Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Uganda’s smallest national park, is part of the larger Virunga Conservation Area and is known for its rare mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. The park’s dramatic volcanic landscapes include three extinct volcanoes: Mount Muhabura, Mount Gahinga, and Mount Sabyinyo, offering excellent hiking and trekking opportunities. In addition to gorilla trekking, visitors can experience rich Batwa cultural heritage, scenic nature walks, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
